Introduction |
Since the maintenance release 4.01 of HomeSite and ColdFusion Studio now includes my Tag Definitions for HTML and VTML, you won't need the installation sets on this page if you already have installed the maintenance release. You should check out the Maintenance Release Special page however, where you'll find last-minute fixes and updates as well as new tools especially for the maintenance release. You can't afford to miss these! And if you don't have Index DOT Html yet, see below. There are several files available for download from this page:
New: The HTML Tag Definitions / Editors now come in a single package together with the VTML Tag Definitions and documentation; a new installation program will let you choose to install the VTML set or the HTML set or both; files that might be overwritten will be backed up automatically. No more lengthy installation instructions! Updates are always indicated; if only part of the files in a package are updated, the version number quoted here
is the highest version number contained in the package. The archives contain the version number in their name.

Index DOT Html |
Unpack the archive in a new folder and let the img folder be created below that; then see index.html for installation instructions and more.
This archive contains detailed download and installation instructions for Index DOT Html. While it does not contain the archive itself it does contain all necessary links. The Index DOT Html reference consists of HTML files (with graphics) so in principle you can install them anywhere you like. However, these files
are also referred to from the HTML Tag Editors and Tag Definitions. If you want to make sure this integration works later on, it's important to
carefully follow these installation instructions.

HTML Tag Editors |
Want to see the documentation before downloading? It's also on-line: HTML Tag Definitions: Documentation. There is a single installation file which contains the HTML Tag Editors and corresponding updated MarkUpTags.vtm to make them available from the Tag Chooser, as well as a toolbar. The VTML Tag Definitions are also included, with documentation. You can choose to install either the HTML set, the VTML set, or both. The files included are equivalent to those included with Allaire's 4.01 maintenance release (to the extent the version 3.0 programs support this) with one major exception: the HTML Tag Editors link to Index DOT Html for their help information.
If you use Go to the Downloads page for the 199-05-05 fix of Input.vtm!

HTML Tag Definitions |
Want to see the documentation before downloading? It's also on-line: HTML Tag Definitions: Documentation. There are two separate installs, one for each program. If you use both programs, just get both installation files. The installation sets contain the HTML Tag Definitions and corresponding updated MarkUpTags.vtm to make them available from the Tag Chooser, as well as a toolbar. The VTML Tag Definitions are also included, with documentation. You can choose to install either the HTML set, the VTML set, or both.
